Job Summary

As a full-time instructor in the Data Analytics Bootcamp, you will be responsible for the delivery of our highly rated Data Analytics courses and programs and will be an integral part of the stellar supportive student experience Developers Institute is known for. Your purpose is to ensure curriculum content is delivered to our high standard, that students are supported throughout their learning journey, and that they are set up for success.

To achieve this, Developers Institute instructors must be dedicated to creating an inclusive learning environment for a diverse student body, be motivated to review, maintain, and suggest improvements for the curriculum they teach, and be excited to collaborate with their team.

Essential Job Functions

• Teach a variety of Data Analytics technologies, skills, and best practices across our Data Analytics Bootcamp through lessons, code-along, and interactive exercises
• Work 1 on 1 with students to provide in-class and project support
• Help resolve issues and coach through code debugging and technical problem-solving
• Collaborate with other instructors to solve student experience and lesson delivery issues
• Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of our courses’ curriculum, according to the Curriculum Roadmap
• Contribute to the creation of an inclusive and positive learning environment by regularly reviewing best practices, attending staff meetings and workshops, and bringing genuine care and personality to interactions
• Participate in supporting student and community events

Qualifications

• As an instructor at Developers Institute, you should be passionate about teaching and excited to take part in directly addressing the diversity imbalance in computer software careers. In addition, the following skills are required
• Minimum 2/3 years of experience as data Analyst
• Strong knowledge : Python, SQL, Tableau and Power BI
• One or more years of previous teaching experience in an educational institution or program
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in english
• Leadership and group facilitation experience, particularly with multiple cultures and backgrounds
• High-energy self-starter and presenter
• Ability to wear multiple hats and work in a start-up like culture, getting things done and contributing to a constantly learning and growing organization.
