Vectorious has developed the world’s first in-heart microcomputer and is on a mission to transform heart failure treatment. As part of our first in-human clinical study, we have successfully implanted our sensory device in patients across Europe, while demonstrating a huge potential in helping millions of people living with heart failure to take control and manage their disease. As an increasingly growing company we’ve been accepted to FDA’s prestige Breakthrough Device Designation program.
We are looking for a talented MEMS Research Engineer to join our team
Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop and perform experiments and associated physical models, analyze their results to provide technical insights regarding current generation devices and recommendations regarding next generation devices.
- Data Extraction, Cleaning and Analysis: Collect and process raw data from various inputs, including data from various points in the production process and field deployments.
- Performance Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize performance based on data-driven insights, contributing to product enhancements and reliability improvements.
- Failure Analysis: Investigate and diagnose any anomalies or failures in the MEMS and its physical surroundings, by analyzing data, identifying root causes, and proposing corrective actions.
- Reporting: Create comprehensive reports and visualizations to communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders, including engineering teams and management.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's, master’s or PhD degree in Physics, Mechanical / Electrical / Material Engineering, or a related field.
- At least three years of relevant industry experience or equivalent research experience at the University.
- Proven experience in MEMS experiments, analysis, physical models, parasitic capacitance calculations and handling raw data from hardware components is advantageous.
- Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work with electronic test setups and instrumentation for data collection and analysis, documentation, and knowledge preservation.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
