Cell Therapy Quality Control Specialist – Flow Cytometry

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to perform analytic assays for experimental cell and gene therapies for patients in clinical trials. Your main focus will be on designing and performing flow cytometery assays. You will also perform assays using various techniques including qPCR, ddPCR, ELISA, and bacterial culture.

You will work with various test materials including viral vectors, cell banks, primary human cells, and human blood. You will be part of a small team performing required QC assays for both Sheba projects and outside customers. Experience with analytic assays and cell culture in biotech, or pharma laboratory is preferred.

Excellent written English is required. This work may lead to publications in scientific journals and will support clinical trials for treatment of patients with cancer and other types of disease.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

•               Perform analytic assays including flow cytometry, molecular biology, and culture (cell and bacterial)

•               You will be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays if required for patient care.

•               Isolation and manipulation of primary human T cells in culture

•               Basic molecular biology techniques

Qualifications: 

·               BSc degree in biological sciences or chemistry or relevant experience in pharma or medical device companies 

·               Experience designing and performing flow cytometry assays

Required experience/knowledge: 

·               Meticulous attention to details and accuracy 

·               Organized and responsible 

·               Teamwork skills 

·               Reading and writing skills in Hebrew and English
