Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Electrical High Voltage Engineer responsible for advising the Project Company in all concerning design tasks of high voltage installations with all equipment, wiring associated and OCS.

• Ensure the high voltage and OCS design is fully compliant with the Project’s Requirements.
• Lead the design and build electric traction transformer substations and high voltage network.
• Lead the design and build Overhead Catenary System.
• Propose and evaluate solutions either during the Design development or during Construction or Commissioning for any relevant issue related with or involving with the High Voltage works and catenary.
• Coordinate the assumption of responsibilities with suppliers, transportation and electricity exploitation legislation.
• Lead the design, build and set up high voltage systems and OCS.
• Ensure the measurement, testing and certification of high voltage equipment and components and OCS.
• Characterize, model, simulate, analyze and design railway operation.

Qualifications

• Qualified professional with a tertiary education in electrical engineering .
• Experience in the field of high voltage electrical engineering and overhead catenary system.
• Experience in electrical engineering in international LRT projects.
• Experience in testing equipment after installation.
• Experience in the train / railway field.
• Proficient in English.
