SOX Analyst

A listed and growing company in the cyber industry, is on the lookout for a proficient professional skilled in internal controls and risk management, having prior experience in the compliance landscape, preferably within public accounting or the domain of technology compliance. The role involves orchestrating the development and implementation of robust internal controls compliant with regulatory standards.

This pivotal role involves the assessment of financial risks linked to key processes, refining risk control matrices (RCMs) and flowcharts, and recommending optimal internal controls to mitigate identified risks. Thriving in a dynamic environment is a must, balancing various concurrent projects.

Reporting to the Compliance Director, the responsibilities include leading the strategic plan for compliance initiatives, streamlining processes for scalability, and conducting scoping and materiality assessments to pinpoint critical accounts and controls. Collaborating with process owners to update documentation in line with evolving business dynamics is also a core aspect.

Qualifications for Success:

- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA license, or equivalent qualification.

- 2-4 years of Sarbanes Oxley compliance exposure within multinational public entities or Big 4 expertise.

- Exceptional communication skills adaptable across all management levels, external auditors, and stakeholders.

- Proven project management acumen, proficient in managing project life cycles.

- Strong analytical prowess, keen attention to detail, and organizational proficiency.

- Collaborative team player fostering innovation, comprehending business process interdependencies and their impact on the control framework.

- Self-driven, capable of independent work, and proficient in English.
