About The Position

As the MIS PMO, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the program portfolio within the Management Information Systems department. You will lead the establishment and execution of project management standards, processes, and methodologies to ensure successful project delivery aligned with business goals.

You will assist in coordinating activities, managing communications, and ensuring alignment between MIS projects and organizational goals.Reporting directly to the VP of MIS, You will play a pivotal role in supporting and facilitating the strategic initiatives and operations within the information systems department.

The MIS PMO is a strategic thinker, capable of understanding the broader organizational goals and aligning MIS strategies to support and further those objectives. If you have strong verbal skills and written communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders we would love to meet you .

The MIS PMO will work hand-in-hand with the MIS managers & the business teams to align on the planning the roadmap and the execution, in addition to taking part in the PMO company guild.

About You

We are looking for someone with a strong tech & business background in building MIS solutions who can navigate in a dynamic environment, manage multiple tasks, and pivot quickly in response to changing priorities or situations. If you are an experienced PMO focused on the MIS environment, understand the business implications of technology decisions, and can prioritize initiatives based on their impact on organizational goals and objectives, We're excited to connect with you.

What Will You Do

• Strategic Support: Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring strategic plans and initiatives aligned with the VP MIS vision and organizational objectives.
• Communication and Coordination: Facilitate communication between the MIS group, and business departments & external stakeholders to ensure alignment and efficient execution of projects.
• Reporting and Communication: Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders and senior management, providing insights on project status, risks, and performance metrics.
• Develop and Implement PMO Strategies: Design and implement PMO strategies, policies, and procedures to support MIS initiatives and ensure alignment with the company's cross-PMO department.
• Project Portfolio Management: Manage the MIS program portfolio, including prioritization, resource allocation, and monitoring of project progress.
• Project Governance: Establish governance frameworks, standards, and best practices for project management within the MIS department.
• Resource Management: Oversee resource allocation, ensuring optimal utilization and allocation of human and technical resources across projects.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks & dependencies to ensure successful project delivery and adherence to timelines and budget.
• Mentorship and Leadership: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project managers and teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  
  

• Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience in project management within the MIS or IT domain, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial capacity, preferably in an OCIO role.
• Understanding of MIS operations, project management principles, and MIS governance frameworks. Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, understanding of MIS systems, technologies, and processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex project challenges and make strategic decisions.
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks with a high level of autonomy and attention to detail. Agile mindset and experience in Agile implementation.
• Ability to see the "big picture” and to “connect the dots”.
• PMP or similar certification is highly desirable.
• BA / BS in Industrial Engineering and Management / Computer Science /Information Systems / Economics or a similar background
