DevOps Engineer

Primary Skills:

• Azure Dev/Ops, Familiarity with Azure and working within Azure environments (e.g., subscription management, etc.) either through Azure Portal or CLI, deploying Azure Virtual Machines.
• Experience with Ev2 - for Deploying Azure Resources in public and sovereign clouds. Ability to monitor deployments and troubleshoot the issues.
• Ability to create and run scripts using tools such as PowerShell or Linux
• Experience with C# programming language desired.
• Familiarity with json files and file structures.
• ​Familiarity with using and obtaining data from source repositories ex. Git Repositories.
• Experience with ARM Templates.
• Troubleshoot and fix buildout issues, including understanding internal issues (typos, subscriptions, ARM templates, etc) and external issues (caused by other services)
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline
• Initiate code changes and pull requests using Microsoft Visual Studio
• Telemetry data pipelines and Dashboard work
• Proficient in working with large datasets through Kusto and produce views.
• Experience in creating data-rich dashboards, writing Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) expressions, and implementing row-level security in power BI.

Secondary Skills:

• Ability to Document to tech process.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
• General understanding of Microsoft BI stack and Data analysis for large datasets
• Familiarity with Web Components preferred but not required.
• General understanding of Microsoft BI stack and Data analysis for large datasets.
• General familiarity with web application development
• General familiarity with working with external data sources (data synchronization between systems, e.g., via Azure Data Factory)
• General familiarity with source control (e.g., Github/Azure DevOps Repos)
• General familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
