Job Description

At Ceragon (NASDAQ: CRNT), we are looking for a talented Controller to join our world-class finance team. The Controller will supervise and manage various financial and accounting activities of Ceragon Israel, including preparing financial statements, working with auditors, preparing tax returns and supervising day-to-day accounting operations, bookkeeping and payments. The Controller will also be responsible for leading a high-performing accounting team and collaborating with key stakeholders across various functions. The ideal candidate will have a CPA license with a strong background in accounting and financial reporting, excellent managerial skills and at least 3 years of experience as a Financial Controller at a global US publicly traded high-tech company.

The position will report to the Director of Corporate Accounting and does not fit applicants who are looking for their first role exiting an accounting firm or internship.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervising and managing day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, prepaid expenses, accruals, general ledger, and fixed asset management. Reviewing and approving financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records. Working in a multi-currency environment.
• Leading and supervising a team of 5 accounting professionals, including training, performance evaluations, and professional development. Ensuring a high standard of work, fostering teamwork, and promoting a positive work environment.
• Proactively identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies through process improvements, implementation of new technologies and automation.
• Leading the quarterly and annual close processes of Ceragon Israel. Executing period-end cutoff procedures and preparation of financial information for consolidation.
• Preparation of annual statutory financial statements, tax returns and other reports to the authorities in Israel.
• Work with the Company’s external auditors (EY) on quarterly reviews and annual audits.
• Maintaining SOX procedures. Executing and documenting internal controls over financial reporting.
• Assist with the development and implementation of accounting policies.
• Supporting tax-related matters.
• Performing ad hoc analysis and supporting special accounting issues as needed.
• Undertaking tasks in special projects, such as deployment of new systems.
• Establishing partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with other Finance departments
• Corporate Accounting, Internal Audit, and FP&A.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA with Big 4 experience in the high-tech industry.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience as a Financial Controller in a corporate environment of a global US publicly traded technology company.
• Proven experience in direct management of a team of 3-5 accounting professionals.
• Good knowledge and experience in US GAAP.
• SOX experience.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate data, perform complex calculations and identify and resolve technical accounting problems.
• Ability to distill complex accounting analysis and articulate accounting issues effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and at various levels within the Company.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality, accurate work within tight deadlines.
• Positive, hands-on and proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Team player, fast learner, self-motivated with a high sense of urgency, high level of independence & self-review, and can-do mindset.
• Good interpersonal skills, high work ethic, and willingness to work under pressure and extra hours when needed.
• Experience with Oracle ERP and HFM.
• Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Wizard.
• Excellent English, verbal and written.
