We are seeking a skilled FinOps Specialist with a minimum of 2 years of experience in cloud cost management. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in AWS Cost Explorer, and GCP cost analysis, and have a preference for understanding Kubernetes costs.

Responsibilities:

• Cloud Cost Monitoring and Analysis: Utilize AWS Cost Explorer and GCP cost analysis tools to monitor and analyze cloud expenses. Provide detailed insights into cost drivers, trends, and opportunities for optimization.
• Budgeting and Forecasting for Cloud Services: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and manage budgets for AWS and GCP expenses. Generate accurate financial forecasts based on cloud consumption patterns and business requirements.
• Cost Optimization and Kubernetes Expertise: Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in AWS, GCP, and Kubernetes environments. Leverage knowledge of Kubernetes cost management best practices.
• IAC Implementation for Cost-Effective Infrastructure: Utilize Terraform and Pulumi for Infrastructure as Code to automate resource provisioning and optimize infrastructure costs.
• Reporting and Communication: Generate regular reports on AWS, GCP, and Kubernetes spending, cost savings, and key performance indicators. Communicate financial insights and recommendations to management and relevant stakeholders.
• Design and implement cloud architectures that prioritize cost savings without compromising performance or reliability.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a FinOps, cloud cost management, or related role- MUST
• Knowledge of AWS, GCP services, and pricing models – MUST
• Demonstrated expertise in AWS Cost Explorer, GCP cost analysis, and proficiency in interpreting Kubernetes costs.
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code tools, with hands-on experience like Terraform or Pulumi.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Advantages:

• Certification in FinOps or related areas.
• Experience with Kubernetes cost management tools like Kube Cost or Cast AI.
• Experience with programming languages like Golang or Python
