Director of Engineering

ReasonLabs is a rapidly growing company in the cybersecurity industry. It was founded in 2016 with the goal of developing a powerful defense against ever-evolving cyber threats to users around the world. Today, ReasonLabs protects over 100M active users by detecting more than 24M threats every month.

We are in search of a dynamic Director of Web Engineering who can oversee our various web engineering units including Frontend, Backend, Data, and DevOps teams. We need a seasoned leader who has comprehensive expertise in the entire web development ecosystem, ranging from database interactions to user interface design. This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and is committed to seeing projects through to successful deployment.

Responsibilities:

• Recruit, mentor, and develop team leaders and engineers within the web engineering group.
• Collaborate closely with our Architecture team to identify optimal solutions for our service offerings.
• Partner with Program and Release Managers to guarantee timely delivery of projects.
• Implement and refine SDLC methodologies and practices.
• Engage closely with the business unit to understand their needs and devise the most effective strategies for meeting them.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in managing managers.
• At least 6 years of experience in managing engineering teams.
• Experience in managing remote, overseas developers
• Over 10 years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in both backend and frontend JavaScript.
• Strong familiarity with AWS.
• Expertise in Docker.
• Prior experience with SQL.
• Demonstrated experience in designing complex software architectures.
• Exceptional communication skills in both Hebrew and English.
• A solid understanding of business KPIs.
