Project Manager-part time position

Evogene (NASDAQ: EVGN, TASE: EVGN.TA) is a leading computational biology company that aims to revolutionize the development of life-science-based products across multiple market segments.

We are looking for a part-time position (50%) Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary R&D projects combining software (computational biology), experimental biology and chemistry. The R&D projects are both inter-company projects and projects with external parties.

Our offices are in Rehovot.

The position requires:

• Tight work with customers and internal multidisciplinary teams to structure workplans, including objectives, deliverables, timelines, and budget.
• Identifying critical path activities and bottlenecks.
• Monitoring and coordinating the progress of project activities, ensuring execution according to workplan (milestones, objectives, and budget).
• Managing and monitoring project workflows and budget.
• Managing cross-company interfaces with various teams, as well as external customer interfaces.

All you need is:

• Experience of at least 3 years in project management in the life science industry - must.
• BSc/MSc in Biology or other life sciences – must.
• Extensive experience and comfort with Gantt charts, project management software and Excel.
• Experience with computational and software R&D project management practices – advantage.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills; detail oriented.
•  Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both in Hebrew and English.
• Available for part-time employment (50%position) in our Rehovot offices.
