About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our marketing team and ensure the delivery of top-notch, error-free websites that exceed client expectations.

As a QA Engineer at HiBob, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest level of quality for our WordPress marketing website. You will work closely with our development and design teams to conduct thorough testing, identify issues, and ensure that all aspects of the website meet our stringent quality standards before they go live.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the development and design teams to understand projects’ requirements and specifications.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including functional, usability, and compatibility testing.
• Perform manual testing of WordPress websites across various browsers, devices, and platforms.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using issue tracking systems.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure that previously identified issues have been resolved.
• Verify the proper implementation of design elements, layout, and content.
• Test and validate interactive elements, forms, links, and multimedia components.
• Validate the accuracy of website content, including text, images, videos, and downloadable resources.
• Test website performance and responsiveness to ensure optimal user experience.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
• Participate in design and development meetings to provide QA input during the project lifecycle.
• Assist in the continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices.
  
  

• At least 1 year experience as a QA Specialist or similar role in website testing, preferably within a WordPress environment.
• Experience with automated frontend testing tools.
• Solid understanding of web technologies, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
• Experience with various browsers, operating systems, and devices for testing.
• Proficiency in using issue tracking and project management tools.
• Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to testing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of SEO and digital marketing concepts is a plus.
• CI/CD Unit Tests writing is a plus.
