Economist

We are looking for an Research Economist to join a team at a leading financial organization. In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Collecting and analyzing economic data from both within and outside the bank.
• Developing econometric models to analyze trends, generate forecasts, and write reports.
• Writing economic reports, both in the macroeconomic and industry sectors.
• Presenting findings to internal and external forums.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's and master's degree in economics.
• A strong background in econometrics, with at least 3 years of experience applying econometric techniques outside of academy
• 3 years of experience in macroeconomic and industry analysis of foreign markets.
• Excellent English skills, both written and verbal, for writing professional documents and giving presentations.
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience working with statistical software.
• Knowledge and proficiency in Eviews is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas) and SQL is an advantage.
• A good understanding of foreign markets and the global macroeconomic landscape is a significant advantage.
