Head of Finance

we are seeking Head of Finance with a storied history in finance and technology. As our Head of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in steering our financial decisions, including budget management, fundraising, and strategic investments, all in alignment with our visionary goals. About The Role:

• Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, from payables and receivables to payroll and tax preparation, and implement robust accounting and billing systems and controls.
• Develop innovative tracking methods for revenue, expenses, and extensive transaction monitoring.
• Expand and enhance company KPI dashboards, providing actionable insights for informed operational decisions.
• Manage transactions, investments, and business deals that impact our bottom line.
• Take ownership of all finance operations, including financial reporting, forecasts, planning, budgeting, financial analysis, cash management, and procurement.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to internal stakeholders, government regulators, and external agencies.
• Manage the organization's insurance coverage, ensuring compliance.
• Optimize financial activities to maximize profits and fuel growth.
• Ensure compliance with industry-specific tax laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• CPA - Must
• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is usually a minimum requirement.
• At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or management role, such as a Finance Manager or Controller, is often required.
• Previous experience in software, technology, or financial services organizations.
• Exceptional business acumen and the ability to make data-driven decisions, identifying key business drivers to allocate finance department resources effectively.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven track record of fostering collaborative working relationships across organizational teams.
• Strategic thinking abilities, with a knack for integrating diverse inputs, encouraging innovation, and challenging the status quo while managing multiple tasks against deadlines.
• Demonstrated success in recruiting, building, developing, coaching, and retaining a motivated, high-performing team.
• Expertise with financial tools and data tools such as Power BI, along with familiarity with databases.
• A solid understanding of accounting principles.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
