About the Project:

KPMG is undergoing a Global Operations Transformation, and SAP was chosen as the globally recommended standard. The objective is to develop a single global blueprint solution based on the S/4HANA Public Cloud Professional Services Industry Solution and align to the Global Strategy 3.0 to standardize and reduce operational complexity.

With this programme, KPMG has a unique opportunity to adopt a cloud mindset and create streamlined core business processes which are consistent with good practice across the Member Firms and Clusters, while delivering business benefits and supporting market growth. Whilst size and complexity of the firms will affect the scope and deployment approach, and local regulations will call for configuration differences, the main objective remains to minimize customizations and align to the Global Strategy.

Job Responsibilities:

• Own and manage the Technical workstream as part of the global operations SAP transformation project, overseeing technical architecture design, Bill of Materials, instance strategy, data, reporting, roles/controls, integration and extensibility design
• Work with Technical Leaders in the Regions in driving alignment on the recommended future state technical architecture and environment/instance strategy
• Oversee set up of environments (sandbox, development, test and production) and access for users
• Lead on development of Bill of Materials and participate in negotiation discussions with SAP
• Collaborate closely with the Solution Architect and Functional Consultants, understanding their functional specifications and overseeing the technical development of those specifications
• Evaluate the various design levels, from outline to detail, provided by various team members, partners, and third-parties
• Develop the standard Integration & Extensibility design, and ensure designs are implemented, configured, and documented seamlessly
• Support and stand by crucial technical design decisions, representing them at technical design authority when required
• Co-ordinate across global and regional IT security teams in securing sign off on recommended application(s) and tech architecture
• Work with regional and local teams in the adoption of the globally recommended tech solution and support them with any additional locally driven requirements definition, detailed design, build and implementation
• Ensure that project deliverables are met on time and within budget
• Monitor delivery and tasks and report on progress in project governance
• Manage key relationships and ongoing collaboration with SAP team
  
  

• Excellent knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, ideally the Public Cloud variant, along with other SAP solutions - mandatory
• SAP S/4HANA Cloud certification and hands-on experience – mandatory
• Knowledgeable on IT capabilities, methodologies, and technologies, hands-on experience with Agile development - mandatory
• Strong knowledge of ERP architecture and integration experience in Cloud solutions (roadmaps, integration, extensibility)
• BTP integration (APIs, OData, RESTFUL)
• BTP app development (Steampunk, JAVA)
• Experience with SuccessFactors and Salesforce integration - advantage
• Exposure to analytics, iRPA and machine learning - advantage
• Ability to engage with and influence both business and technical stakeholders
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
