Role Description

Come Join us! We are looking to hire a Linux automation engineer with outstanding communication abilities, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of best practices.

You will install new Linux based solutions at customers sites, manage, configure & troubleshoot systems to ensure they are operating effectively, and writing new automation scripts according to customer needs.

In this role you are expected to be independent. Comprehend the tasks required, create a work plan, and constantly improve our customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Administrate and maintain Linux clusters including follow up and reporting to management.
• Write, Install, configure, and manage automation scripts
• Ensure system design allows all components to work together properly in an efficient and effective way
• Continually follow up on updates and upgrades and initiate recommendations accordingly
• Evaluate and modify system performance
• Work closely with customers, building strong relationships and providing top notch service experience
• Install, configure, and Manage Kubernetes clusters, OpenShift clusters, Docker container
• Test and Deploy automation scripts to Linux servers, K8S

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience working with Linux OS & bash scripting or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or vendor certification
• Familiar with network infrastructure – Basic understanding with TCP/IP, UDP, L3/L2
• Experience with Linux and understanding Linux OS fundamentals, with an emphasis on Ubuntu/Centos/Rhel/Rockey - Must
• Experience in one or more automation tools such as: Puppet, ansible, GitHub\Gitlab, AWS portal, azure portal, k8s, antifactory and registries, Bash scripts, python - Must
• Experience with writing automation that integrates different system interfaces, such as: DB application and Message broker (RabbitMQ) - Advantage
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written
• Advanced troubleshooting skills & customer support mindset
• Strong hands-on skills - Managing Linux server – Advantage
• Level 2 Security clearance or equal recommendation – Must
