Salesforce Data Cloud is looking for a skilled Quality Lead. In this pivotal role, you’ll be instrumental in designing and implementing end-to-end quality integration for a cloud-based infrastructure and tools to bolster Salesforce applications and Salesforce’s global infrastructure.

You will be responsible for designing and driving the implementation of comprehensive test plans/quality strategies by collaborating with multiple engineering teams. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure the successful execution of tests and maintain high automated test pass rates in various environments. You’ll learn about the end-to-end workings of the platform and write integration tests to cover critical areas for traditional and data flows. You’ll have the opportunity to enhance our test frameworks, work on test environment stability, and develop automation strategies.

In addition, this role encompasses driving engineering standards, advocating for full service ownership, and undertaking performance and capacity engineering. The Salesforce Data Platform will enable companies to unify customer data, manage identity and consent, segment and activate audiences, and optimize engagement with powered insights. In addition, companies can now build a single view of their customers to deliver personalized engagement across marketing, commerce, sales, and service. You’ll be a part of the software engineering team that is working on building large-scale distributed services across all core areas of the platform covering data ingestion, big data management, big data storage, big data processing, analytics/insights, profile graphs, segmentation, and activations. All the teams are dev/ops focused and own the end-to-end pipelines from development through production and support.

Required Skills

• A related technical degree required or proven several years of experience in IT, with a significant portion of that in an automation testing engineering role
• 5+ years in Quality Engineering/Dev in Test
• 3+ Experience with automation and automation management systems
• Experience analyzing coverage gaps and writing E2E and integration tests
• Ability to coordinate with multiple engineering, product management and infrastructure teams
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to suggest solutions till its implementations
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Proficient in at least one programming language, such as Go, Python, or Java and the ability to read and review others in other languages
• Agile development methodologies
• Proved experience of partnering with multiple teams to drive service level test coverage
• Proved experience with Linux environments and scripting languages
• Good understanding of Build Management and VC systems (Perforce, SVN, Git, etc.)
