DevOps Engineer (Relocation)

We're seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer, to join a startup company relocated in Europe, a relocation package is provided!

Responsibilities:

• The DevOps Engineer will play a visible and influential role in evolving and maintaining our Cloud Infrastructure environments and services. This role is intended to be a technically deep resource that seeks to implement automation through infrastructure and development pipelines and act as the subject-matter expert for Cloud Infrastructure tools and services.
• Work with a globally distributed team of experienced engineers, deploy and manage complex infrastructure in various cloud platforms.
• Spearhead automated and repeatable deployment processes. We’re big on automation and CI/CD, so think automation, automation, automation…)
• Use well-established orchestration and provisioning frameworks like Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, Lambda functions etc.
• Be ready for troubleshooting anywhere, whether it’s inside a client application or on Docker containers running on a cloud instance or the large Lambda functions we run etc.

Requirements

• 3+ years of industry experience supporting critical production applications.
• Experience with building, deploying, and scaling out SaaS/Cloud applications on cloud service providers (preferably Amazon Web Services).
• Experience with Docker and understanding of evolving container management platforms like Kubernetes.
• Experience with maintaining applications in a Linux environment.
• Strong Knowledge of IP Networking, Network Security, Firewalls and DDOS mitigation, and hardening of Linux-based systems.
• Experience with CI/CD systems like GitHub, artifact management systems, log collection and analysis.
• Experience with application performance and security event monitoring.
• Programming experience in common programming languages, such as Go, Swift, and Java.
• Experience with developing and deploying cybersecurity-focused applications.
