Job Description

Western Digital Israel (“WDIL”) operates in 3 sites across Israel and employs ~800 employees. The main charter is an R&D center – which contributes to the design and development of the next generation Flash products, such as SSD and embedded NAND products – for Cloud, Client, and Consumer. WDIL also has presence of these teams: product management, IT, Finance, Legal, HR and CRE.

• Chief-of-Staff for the Country Office team, which includes 16 members: Local site leads, G&A leads, Functional leads, and Site Admin
• Define, manage and monitor the Fiscal Budget for Country Operations expenses
• Drive the Country Office team for defining local policies considering local laws - such as PTO, Equal Opportunity, Gender Salary Equality, contractor & outside services policies
• Drive the Country Office team for execution of local policies
• Measure legal risk and define acceptable risk level
• Lead the Crisis Management Team
• Maintain WDIL Business Continuation Plan (BCP) – in collaboration with Global Security, Quality, and Operations
• Lab operations – define common processes and tools, verify uniform deployment, drive continuous improvement
• Enable/host global WDC executive visits
  
  

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of previous experience in program/project management, with proven track record
• B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering or equivalent
• Competent with Excel - formulas, pivot, charts etc.
• Previous experience in hi-tech companies
• Previous experience in global companies and working with teams located in other geographies
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills and Fluent English
