Project Management Office (PMO) - (Volunteering)

Israel Tech Guard is an elite team of tech volunteers, who have come together to provide new, tech-based solutions to the military and government. We gathered some of Israel’s top developers, programmers, scientists and engineers to help design, build and launch life-saving products in the fastest way ever imagined. For one of our new and exciting projects, we are looking for an experienced Computer Vision Engineer.

As a Project Owner, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the successful delivery of projects within our organization. Your primary focus will be to ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting quality standards. You'll act as a liaison between stakeholders, team members, and other relevant parties to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables with stakeholders. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resources, and budget. Identify and mitigate project risks.
• Lead project managers and ensure adherence to timelines. Monitor progress, track milestones, and make adjustments as necessary to meet goals. Conduct regular status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with various departments to optimize resource utilization throughout the project lifecycle.
• Be the main point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns. Facilitate communication between team members and stakeholders.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and align with stakeholder expectations. Implement quality control measures to promptly identify and resolve issues.
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
• Proven experience (X years) in project management or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Notion, Asana).
