Our mission at Shopic is to revolutionize the retail industry with cutting-edge technology. As a key member of our team, you play an essential role in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures, including analysis. You will supervise the activities of our Bookkeeper during closing cycles, ensure accuracy, and reconcile accounts. Overseeing responsibilities include accounting and financial reporting for our foreign subsidiaries.

What will your day-to-day look like:

Accounts payable, cash flow, banking transactions, and salary management. In addition, you'll handle operational payments, banking relationships, billing, and VAT returns. As well, you will establish financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to maintain robust financial governance.

Preparing annual financial statements and tax reports in compliance with official guidelines and requirements is your responsibility, working closely with external auditors.

We are looking for:

• Internship experience at one of the Big 4 accounting firms
• Having worked in a high tech company for more than four years
• Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite proficiency is advantageous
• Fast-paced environment proficiency, effective prioritizing, and deadline management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Profound knowledge and practical experience with USGAAP
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical prowess
• Fluent English language skills are a must
