Senior Director of Autonomous Vehicle platform-SW

Mobileye’s Autonomous Vehicles (AV) group is looking for a Senior Director of Autonomous Vehicle Platform Software that will be a pivotal leader in the development and testing of the vehicle front-end software. This role is customer-facing and involves managing a dynamic team dedicated to creating cutting-edge solutions for the integration of autonomous driving functionalities.

Your responsibilities will span overseeing the development of basic services, communication protocols, and diagnostics, while also orchestrating the seamless integration of platform software releases across diverse System on Chip (SoC) environments.

What will your job look like?

• Lead a group of project, product, development, and Customer support teams, as well as Close collaboration with software engineers, architects, integration and testing, ensuring alignment with organizational and Customer objectives.
• Improve and formalize process within and outside the group that contribute to projects on time delivery with high quality and standards.
• Oversee the planning and execution of software components related to basic services, Sensors, Vehicle communication protocols, and diagnostics for autonomous driving platforms.
• Plan and manage the integration of platform software releases across different organizations, within and outside of ME, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance to resolve integration challenges and enhance overall system reliability.
• Customer facing for planning release content, timelines, issue management while providing technical insights and guidance on platform software capabilities and features.
• Contribute to the strategic planning of Mobileye's autonomous driving software by providing insights on industry trends, technology advancements, and customer needs.
  
  

• 10-15 years of Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing the development of software for the automotive industry.
• Understanding of complex Systems and HW / SW interfaces
• Strong background in central computing architectures and solutions.
• Experience managing and leading teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of autonomous driving technologies and industry trends is an advantage.
• Ability to align software development with safety standards and regulations.
