Senior Optical Engineer

Senior Optical Engineer to join and lead the optical design group in the company.

for a multidisciplinary company

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in physics/Mechanics/Electro-Optics/Optical Design (in optics track) – mandatory

• At least 7 years of experience in hands-on development of optical content, including the entire development and production route (from planning on the simulation software to production) –

Mandatory

• High-level control of ZEMAX software (including sensitivity analyses, MC runs, tolerances, thermal simulations, etc.) - mandatory

• Experience in development in IR (MWIR, LWIR) - a significant advantage

• Knowledge and mastery of Matlab and/or Python - a significant advantage

• Understanding and knowledge of the production technologies of optics items, including SPDT and AR coatings

• Familiarity with tools and measurement means of optics

• Ability to mentor and professionally lead young optical designers
