As we continue to expand our industry presence, we are seeking a machine learning and big data analytics expert to drive the development of some of the most important features of our industrial automation solution.

Job Description:

As a Senior Engineer in Machine Learning and Big Data, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing advanced analytics and machine learning models to enhance our industrial automation systems, particularly in the semiconductor industry. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and efficiency through cutting-edge technological solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop machine learning algorithms and big data analytics solutions for industrial automation systems.
• Lead projects focusing on test flow prediction and automation, predictive maintenance, process optimization, and quality control using data-driven approaches.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to the semiconductor post silicon validation process.
• Develop methods for data collection, handling, normalization and classification.
• Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to integrate machine learning models into existing and new products.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in machine learning, big data, and industrial automation, especially within the semiconductor industry.
• Mentor and guide junior team members in machine learning and data analytics techniques, and (later on) manage ML/AI team.
• Ensure the scalability and reliability of machine learning and data analytics solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; PhD is a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in machine learning and big data, with a strong preference for experience in industrial automation and/or the semiconductor industry.
• Proven expertise in developing and implementing machine learning models and big data solutions.
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages.
• Understanding of Algorithms (e.g., clustering, regression, decision trees, neural networks) and ML Techniques, as well as statistics and probability.
• Familiarity with machine learning libraries/frameworks (e.g., Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, NumPy and SciPy) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Familiarity with data visualization libraries/tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau, Power BI).
• Familiarity with version control/Git and cloud platforms/services (preferably AWS)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Team management experience is a plus.
