As we continue to expand our industry presence, we are seeking a seasoned Chief Business Development Officer with a specialization in customer acquisition to spearhead our growth initiatives.
Job Description:
We are looking for a visionary Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO) to join our executive team. The CBDO will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to acquire new customers and expand our market share in the semiconductor industry. This role requires a balance of strategic planning, sales expertise, and a deep understanding of the semiconductor market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive customer acquisition strategies in the semiconductor industry.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, targeting key clients and market segments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and business drivers.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product development teams to align strategies and initiatives with market demands.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and seminars, enhancing brand visibility and networking with potential clients.
- Provide leadership and direction to the business development team (once the company grows enough to justify expanding the team beyond the CBDO role), setting clear goals and performance metrics.
- Report to the CEO and other relevant stakeholders on business development activities, results, and strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in business development or sales, with a strong focus on the semiconductor industry.
- Proven track record of successful customer acquisition and business expansion.
- Extensive network and established relationships within the semiconductor industry.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision making.
