Research Laboratory Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated lab manager for a new pediatric nephrology research lab at the Tel-Aviv Medical Center. As the lab manager, you will have the unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in advancing pioneering research aimed at understanding the molecular and cellular intricacies of kidney development in both health and disease. Our lab is dedicated to using state-of-the-art human-based organoid models to develop targeted therapies for inherited kidney diseases and pediatric kidney cancer. You will work alongside a dynamic team of scientists and clinicians, collaborating to make a significant impact on the future of pediatric nephrology.

Key responsibilities:

·     Lead and participate in innovative research projects

·     Provide mentorship and guidance to junior researchers

·     Manage laboratory resources, including budgets, supplies, and equipment.

·     Participate in grant and manuscript writing.

Qualifications:

Strong leadership skills, high initiative and organizational abilities

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work both in a team and independently.

A Ph.D. in molecular biology or immunology (post-doctorate experience is an advantage)

Possess a solid background in molecular biology, with experience in working with stem cells or cell cultures.

Prior experience with animal work and proficiency in bioinformatics is advantageous.

Proficiency in both Hebrew and English
