Job Description

Zscaler has an engineering site in Israel which is committed to develop cyber security solutions to protect companies around the world.

We are looking for an IT specialist that will help ensure all employees have the systems and technologies they need to complete their work, and to ensure that Zscaler important files and information remain safe and intact.

To be successful in this highly visible position, you’ll use your experience with conference room equipment, end user computing, IT asset procurement, etc.

Responsibilities

• Install and update company software and hardware as needed.
• Offer technical support to company staff and troubleshoot computer problems.
• Price negotiation and purchase computers and IT equipment for existing employees and new hires.
• Work with equipment vendors and suppliers to send equipment for repair and keep track of its status.
• Anticipate and report the cost of replacing or updating computer items.
• Review diagnostics and assess the functionality and efficiency of corporate systems that connect Zscaler Israel office to the corporate worldwide network.
• Manage meeting room conferencing systems.
• Work with other members of a global IT team to troubleshoot and configure routers and resolve gateway issues in the Tel-Aviv network.
  
  
  

Requirements

• 7 plus years of working as IT engineer in a high-tech company.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or specialized IT training.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Keen attention to detail
• Efficient troubleshooting abilities
• Effective communication skills, including speaking, writing and active listening both in Hebrew and English.
  
  
  

Good To Have

• Certification like CCNA or CompTIA.
• Knowledge of VMWare and vSphere.
• Experience in managing a small engineering lab.
