Your Role and Responsibilities

Join the System Security and Data Synthesis group in IBM Research - Haifa to contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies at the intersection between foundation models, cyber-security and cryptography.

We are developing novel techniques and methods for crypto discovery and remediation. Specifically, we are looking to apply different technologies such as static source code analysis, dynamic network monitoring, model fine tunning and automatic generation of quantum safe source code (e.g. using ML) to address discovery, remediation and modernization.

Join us to contribute to one of these fascinating and innovative areas, with the goal of contributing to a new developing product as well as publishing new results in top conferences/journals in the area of cyber-security and AI.

This is an opportunity to work on advanced research topics while bringing them into the context of real-world scenarios and use cases based on real customer pain-points.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

BSc/BE Student in Computer Science or Computer Engineering faculties, starting 5th semester with at least 2 semesters left for graduation.

Proficiency in a high-level programming language

Authorized to work in Israel or hold an applicable work permit required by the Israeli law

Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise

MSc student in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

Hands-on experience in java or python

Familiarity with Machine Learning methods, algorithms, techniques and libraries.

Theoretical knowledge of compilation theory

Understanding of cryptography schemes, algorithms, and protocols
