We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring that our software releases are accompanied by clear and comprehensive documentation. As a Technical Writer at Novidea, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality documentation that enhances the user experience for both our delivery team and customers.

What's the job:

We are looking for a Technical Writer to produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our products. You will join a team of talented Product owners and managers and work collaboratively with developers, quality engineers, and Salesforce implementation experts to make our products easier to use. You will need to learn and know the capabilities and features of what you will be documenting and create internal and external facing documentation

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and Quality Assurance teams to understand new software features and enhancements.
• Create and maintain clear and concise documentation, including release notes, user guides, API documentation, configuration guides, and other technical collateral.
• Translate technical information into user-friendly documentation that is accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ensure that documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with the latest software releases.
• Organize and manage documentation repositories, making it easy for team members to access and update documentation.
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to continuously improve the quality and usability of documentation.
• Work closely with the Product Management team to ensure that documentation aligns with the overall product strategy and customer needs.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in technical writing and incorporate them into our documentation processes.
• Create “How to“ short videos to support written users guides
  
  

• At least 3 years proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation.
• Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in a software development environment.
• Proven hands on experience in a software product company allowing to create documentation based on system flows, and not written materials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to transform complex technical information into clear and concise documentation.
• Familiarity with software development concepts, APIs, and programming languages is a plus.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
