Algorithms Engineer For a Startup

• Leading the development of the advanced control & navigation algorithms for the company’s hydrogen-based platforms
• Support the different platforms control parameters calibration
• Development of system performance simulations in Matlab/Python
• Develop algorithms supporting optimal use of the hydrogen fuel cell energy during flight
• Work on innovation and research of the algorithmic areas relevant for future drone platforms
• Write documents and prepare presentations necessary for the further development of the algorithmic part of the drone systems

Job Requirements

• Five or more years of experience as Algorithm Engineer – a must
• B.Sc in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or related - a must
• M.Sc is an advantage
• Solid knowledge in Navigation, Control, Aerodynamics
• Experience in algo development with MATLAB /Python (knowledge of additional programming languages is an advantage)
• Fast learner
• Experience developing systems from initial stages to transfer to production
• Experience in drone platforms development from scratch – huge advantage
• Experience in avionics/airborne systems, communication systems, command and control systems – an advantage
• Knowledge and experience in hydrogen generated electrical power - an advantage
• Problem solver with a “can do” approach
