DevOps Team Leader

What will you be doing?

• Lead and mentor a team of experienced DevOps professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Be an integral part of our roadmap planning from project inception and design, through deployment, operations, and maintenance
• Own and drive initiatives related to Cloud Computing, CICD platforms, secret management, EKS platform and infrastructure, serverless platforms, complex migration projects, and company-wide collaborative and Innovative projects.
• Prioritize projects based on their potential impact on the business, ensuring a strategic and results-driven approach.
• Define and develop our Infrastructure as Code Building blocks strategy while focusing on ease of use and contribution by the R&D teams.
• Collaborate with peer DevOps and Data Platform teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of self-serve platforms to our R&D organization.
• Continuously push for modernizing our DevOps practices to help drive efficiency and better agility throughout the entire company.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience leading a DevOps team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor team members
• Well-established experience running high-scale production workloads on a public cloud solution
• Strong initiative and proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
• Proven Experience with at least one programming language: Python, Java, NodeJS, or Go
• Possesses a foundational understanding of HTTP and cloud networking concepts
• Good familiarity with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
• Experience with company-wide collaborative projects and cross-functional teamwork.
• Strong understanding of the intersection between technology and business, with a track record of delivering ROI-positive projects
