Air Conditioning Technician

The Construction and Engineering Department at the Weizmann Institute is looking for an operator for air conditioning control systems.

The role requires the management and maintenance of central facilities in energy centers and machine rooms, which are operational 24 hours a day and include among other things, the following:

• Water systems, compressed air systems, heating and steam systems, and air conditioning systems etc.
• Monitoring and responding to different signals received via control systems
• Carrying out audits in the institute's facilities
• Assisting with the different systems during the day and summoning drivers when needed after work hours
• Work in shifts 24/7

Requirements:

• Technician / mechanical engineer / air conditioning and/or expertise in a comparable role is required
• Experience dealing with air conditioning systems in terms of maintenance and operation is required
• An electrician's license is advantage
• Experience with maintenance management systems
• Experience with HMI software such as Cimplicity is advantage
• Certification as a heating and/or steam boiler operator - an advantage
