Research Associate-Biochemistry

Job description:

In the role of Research Associate (biochemist), you will be at the forefront of our innovative work, driving the development of novel biomaterials. Your responsibilities will include:

·        Conducting cutting-edge research and experiments to design and optimize biomaterial formulations

·        Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop scalable manufacturing processes for biomaterial production.

·        Analyzing and characterizing the physical and chemical properties of biomaterials using advanced techniques.

·        Staying up to date with the latest advancements in biomaterials research and incorporating them into our projects.

·        Contributing to the intellectual property portfolio of the company through patent drafting and scientific publications.

·        Establishing manufacture pipe-line, managing protocols and writing reports.

Qualifications:

·        Ph.D. in Biochemistry/Biomedical Engineering/material science/ Chemistry or a related field.

·        A practical experience in research and development of biomaterial applications such as gels, fibers and films.

·        At least 1-2 years of work experience (preferable)

·        Background with regulation and documentation of the cosmetic and pharma industry (preferable).

·        Proficiency in experimental design and characterization techniques such as UV and FTIR/IR spectroscopy, gel electrophoresis, rheology, mechanical testing, microscopy, and toxicity assays.

·        Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.

·        Proven ability to design and execute experiments, analyze data, and communicate findings.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, a flexible, independent and diverse perspective with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team with a "can do" attitude.
