Senior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Engineering department. As part of this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, automating, deploying, monitoring, and administering the infrastructure and applications on AWS. You will make a significant impact on our development and production environments, processes, define new solutions, deploy complex systems, and keep them up and running.

Our stack: AWS, Terraform, K8s, Helm, Athena, RDS, MongoDB, Redis, nodeJS, Jenkins, ArgoCD, github, DataDog.

What you'll do

• Manage our AWS infrastructure, involving planning, deployment, scaling and maintenance
• Review, evaluate and implement improvements in CI/CD processes
• Strategize and implement activities to reduce cloud costs effectively
• Oversee the observability of SeaLights Platform availability and performance.
• Live Site Management - you will play a crucial role in driving high-scale live sites and gaining deep understanding of availability, performance, and security

What you have

• A minimum of 2 years of proven technical experience as DevOps engineer / SRE
• Experience with managing Production workloads running on public cloud infrastructure (AWS / GCP)
• Hands-on experience in creating and maintaining IaC. Terraform - strong advantage
• Experience working with K8s and Helm.
• Experience in implementing production monitoring methodologies for high scale SaaS application
• Scripting skills with at least one of the following: Python, Bash, or Groovy.
• in depth knowledge building CI/CD pipelines (working with Jenkins and ArgoCD - Advantage)
• Knowledge of one or more of the following databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB - Advantage
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player, where you'll work with your DevOps peers, Developers and Architects
• Autodidact with capabilities to quickly learn new technologies, on one hand, and deep dive with existing technologies, on the other
