Job Description
In this position, you will be part of the EMEA Environment, Health and safety (EHS) team. Disciplines covered by the team include Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environment, Occupational Health and Ergonomics. The team supports Intel's business units involved in Research and Development, Logistics, Warehousing, Sales and Marketing, Human Resources etc.
You will be working independently, as well as in collaboration with the other team members, supporting the different Intel R and D campuses across Israel (Haifa, Jerusalem, Petach Tikva etc.)
Position Will Be Physically Located In Jerusalem And Will Be Mainly Supporting The Jerusalem With Campus. As Part Of This Position You Will Be Involved In Activities, Such As But Not Limited To
- Jerusalem site EHS representative and fulfilling Safety officer responsibilities due to Israeli legislations, safety officer valid certification - a must
- Partner with Intel's Corporate Services organization and Intel Research, Development, Sales and Marketing -RDSM- business groups to ensure alignment to Intel's Industrial Hygiene, Safety and Environmental standards and local and national regulation.
- Periodically audit site operations, establish and drive closure of corrective action plans, and share audit learnings with Intel EHS community and other stakeholders .
- Maintain EHS recordkeeping according to regulation, permit, and Intel-specific expectations.
- Enhancing established procedures/practices on Industrial Hygiene, Safety and Environmental programs.
- Establishing and developing a strong partnership with appropriate regulatory agencies.
- Supporting training programs and activities.
- Conducting risk assessments.
- Conducting audits of applicable EHS programs and providing recommendations for improvements.
- Working in collaboration with other EHS professionals within the company and the Corporate EHS organization.
- Collaborate with Intel EHS peers from around the world to promote standardization, continuous improvement, and sharing of learnings.
- Proactively seek out EHS compliance improvement opportunities and drive solutions to closure.
- The candidate must be able to work independently, as well as in collaboration as part of a multidisciplinary team. Additionally, the job involves interaction with employees, managers and external suppliers.
- Job requires ability to communicate and collaborate in English, both verbality and in writing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master degree in Chemistry, Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental, Industrial engineering, & other related fields.
- Qualified Safety officer under the Israeli regulation - a must
- Additional qualifications in different EHS fields - will be an advantage
- Have a deep understanding of the Israeli industrial hygiene - safety - environmental regulation
- Ability to work in a global environment (excellent English skills)
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Great communication skills and highly service orientated
- Be computer literate (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel etc).

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
