UVeye is looking for an experienced Engineering Director to lead our multidisciplinary engineering team and oversee the NPI and production of our company's products.

As our Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of Mechanical, Electronics, and application engineers, providing technical guidance, ensuring project timelines are met, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Manage and lead a team of engineers working on multidisciplinary systems, providing guidance and support in their daily tasks, and performance management.
• Oversee the development, NPI, and production of our company's products, ensuring that all processes meet industry standards and best practices.
• Develop and implement engineering processes and procedures to improve the efficiency, quality, and scalability of our product development process.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as manufacturing, and supply chain, to ensure that all aspects of the product development and production processes are aligned and optimized.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers, ensuring that all product components meet our quality and performance standards.
• Manage and prioritize engineering team workload, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to meet project timelines and business goals.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and evaluate their potential impact on our product development process and business.

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical / Electrical / Electronic Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in engineering management, with a focus on multidisciplinary systems, NPI, and production - Must
• Experience in Quality management - advantage
• Experience in managing subcontractors and vendors
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills, with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for product development, NPI, and production
