Embedded Team Leader

We're looking for a Hardware Embedded Team Leader for Greentech start-up company!

A leading company who is making a huge change and impact on this planet!

The product will: prevent water leakage to provide drinking water accessible around the world. 

Location: Petah Tikva, Hybrid.

Responsibilities:

•Lead and mentor a team (currently one other developer) of embedded software developers to deliver high-quality solutions within set timelines.

•Drive the development and implementation of embedded software for our cutting-edge products.

•Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Backend, and product management) to ensure seamless integration of software components.

•Architect, design, and optimize software for embedded systems, focusing on efficiency, low power consumption, and sensor integration.

•Hands-on development while providing technical guidance and support to team members.

•Establish and maintain best practices, development standards, and agile methodologies within the team.

Requirements: 

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

•4+ years of professional experience in embedded software development, proficient in (at least) one of the following C/C++, Java, Python, and/or JavaScript - must

•Good understanding of low-level programming, electronics, sensor integration, and networking protocols.

•Prior experience in a leadership or team lead role, demonstrating the ability to lead by example and foster a collaborative environment.

•Proven track record of successfully delivering embedded software projects within deadlines.

•Familiarity with agile methodologies and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
