Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
1. Establishes quality and reliability standards by studying product and customer requirements with other managers and with production and R&D.
2. Establishes raw material standards by studying manufacturing and engineering requirements; conferring and negotiating with suppliers; devising testing methods and procedures.
3. Establishes in-process product inspection standards by studying manufacturing methods; devising testing methods and procedures.
4. Establishes standards for the disposition of finished product by devising evaluation tests, methods, and procedures.
5. Establishes product quality documentation system by writing and updating quality assurance procedures.
6. Maintains product quality by enforcing quality assurance policies and procedures and government requirements; collaborating with other managers to develop new product and engineering designs and manufacturing and training methods.
7. Prepares product and process quality reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
8. Completes quality assurance operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
9. Maintains quality assurance staff by orienting, and training employees
10. Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management. Maintains quality assurance staff job results by coaching, and counseling employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
11. Lead Quality and reliability activities in R&D.
12. Develop, maintain and perform internal & external audits.
13. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
14. Achieves financial objectives by preparing the quality assurance budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
15. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
16. Develop and maintain appropriate relationships with external and internal customers to facilitate the successful accomplishment of business objectives
17. Monitor, improve, and oversee all QMS quality policies/procedures to achieve and sustain all required certifications
18. Develop and maintain the corrective/preventive action system and ensure follow-up and
19. Closure of corrective/preventive action Requests, as well as verification of effectiveness
20. Monitor and report status of non-conformities from internal and external audits
21. Prepare and present periodic Management Reviews of the Quality System to senior management
22. Report and improve all Quality-related KPI's
23. Lead Problem Solving events
24. Develop, implement, and execute product and process quality plans that assure conformance to all customer and regulatory requirements
25. Act as designated liaison for regulatory bodies and accrediting organizations
26. Develop and maintain regulatory manuals, documentation and records
27. Manage customer, government, regulatory agency, and third party quality audits
28. Develop, maintain and ensure compliance with QMS procedures, work instructions and "Best Practices" throughout the facility
29. Manage, train and mentor of Quality Inspectors, as well as assure inspection and test is planned, effective and efficient in mitigating quality risks
30. Select, develop and evaluate quality staff to assure skills align with job expectations Communicate with the relevant departments.

Education & Qualifications:
1. BSc in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
2. Preference MSc in QA / Technology / Management.
3. Qualified as CQE or CQM
Experience & Skills:
1. Experience of at least 5 years in Quality Assurance and development processes of complex electronic and mechanical systems.
2. Experience of at least 5 years as a QA Manager in a global High-Tech company.
3. Substantial knowledge of QA & Statistics Methodology.
4. Substantial Knowledge of ISO standards especially ISO AS9100.
5. Experience with MIL-HDBK-217 – Advantage
6. Knowledge of Military Standards (MIL-STD( – Advantage
7. High level of English – speaking, writing, reading.
