Senior Python Backend Developer - Ecosystem Applications

We’re looking for a passionate and bright individuals who wish to take part in the design, development and all technical-related aspects of INFINIDAT’s Ecosystem Applications team.

The selected candidate will be part of a professional team that develops various applications which connects and interacts with complex 3rd party solutions and customers ecosystem.

Most of the development is in Python while using a wide range of operating systems, technologies and architectures.

We have extensive integrations with VMWare and cloud native platforms such a Kubernetes, OpenShift and OpenStack - our customers rely on those integration to maximize the effectivness of our products.

Responsibilities:

• Be able to take ownership over design, direction and implement of a customer facing application.
• Implement new features and optimize existing ones.
• Be in charge of constantly improving our infrastructure.
• Experiment with new technologies, find cool new ways of doing things.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Python developer
• Very strong programming and design skills in Python
• Familiar with generators, decorators, and partials.
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience working with VMWare
• Experience in Linux
• Proficiency in version control systems such as Git

Preferred Qualifications:

• Very strong in one or more of the following:
• Development of distributed systems
• Web development (Django)
• Database Development with Postgres
