Description
Innoviz is a world-leader cutting-edge LiDAR development company. Our LiDAR enables autonomous driving in the next-generation vehicles of leading companies such as BMW and VW.
The Software Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products by working closely with development teams, quality teams and product, project, and program managers.
The SW Quality Engineer will be involved in every stage and process related to software development to monitor, track and ensure process and design quality and product reliability.
Responsibilities
- Taking an active part in creation and adoption of Software Quality Assurance process across the software organization of Innoviz
- Taking an active part in Software development process definition & improvement - identify improvement opportunities for better quality and efficiency, facilitate lessons learned, collect feedback from quality organization, define and coordinate process improvement plan, training and communication
- Software metrics, models and analysis - identify, define and implement KPI's, create and automate measurement database, analyze measurements and enable the assessment of the quality organization
- Software development process tools - coordinate the evaluation, standardization and deployment of tools across the Software organization and according to quality organization specifications
- Taking an active part in enabling assessments, audits and quality gates sign-off of the quality organization (Internal and external to Innoviz)
- Assist in corrective and preventive actions definition
- Assist with training and mentoring; coordinate the quality training program, deliver internal training about process, procedures, tools, standards and models
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software quality assurance, and quality control within a software development environment- Mandatory
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies- - Mandatory
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience- - Mandatory
- Ability to analyze data and technical details to assess product quality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with the development team and stakeholders. Fluency in English - Mandatory
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues, analyze information and develop solutions
- Experience in conducting process and product audits
- Experience with ALM Systems
- Prior experience in the automotive industry – Significant Advantage
- Experience with Automotive SPICE: Knowledge of the Automotive SPICE process assessment model – Significant Advantage
