Data & BI Manager

As a Data & Analytics Manager in Aqua, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making processes within our organization. You will lead a team responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to provide actionable insights. This position requires a strong blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Strategy and Planning:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive data and analytics strategy aligned with the organization's business objectives.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand data needs and ensure that data initiatives align with business goals.

2. Team Leadership:

• Lead and mentor a team of data analysts and data scientists, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Provide guidance on data methodologies, analytical techniques, and best practices.

3. Data Governance:

• Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and security of organizational data.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to define data quality standards and implement data governance frameworks.

4. Data Infrastructure Management:

• Work closely with IT teams to manage data infrastructure, including databases, data warehouses, and analytics tools. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and platforms to enhance data capabilities.

5. Reporting and Visualization:

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide key performance indicators and insights to support decision-making.
• Ensure that reporting tools are user-friendly and accessible to relevant stakeholders.

6. Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver solutions that meet analytical needs.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences effectively.

7. Continuous Improvement:

• Drive continuous improvement in data processes and analytics methodologies.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data and analytics to ensure the organization remains innovative and competitive.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Proven experience (3-5 years) in a data analytics or business intelligence role, with 2-3 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.

- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python or similar.

- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, or equivalent.

- Strong understanding of data governance and quality.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Preferred Skills:

- Knowledge of machine learning and predictive modeling.

- Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
