Why is your role super important ?

We are looking for a high-performing and driven Assistant Financial Controller to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to our CFO, you will be at the forefront of ensuring accurate and efficient financial reporting while actively participating in the company’s financial operations. This opportunity offers a unique platform for you to contribute your talents and knowledge to a rapidly growing company.

How will your day to day look like ?

• Financial Oversight: Take part of all financial aspects of the company, including general accounting, month-end closures, business support, tax return preparation, audits, operations, cash management, and payroll, among others.
• Month-End Assistance: month-end processes and conduct in-depth analyses of financial results, focusing on profitability, cost, cash burn, and compliance with budgets.
• Year-End Collaboration: Contribute actively to year-end closing procedures, supporting audit and review preparations.
• Tax Compliance: Guarantee full compliance with tax authorities, including VAT, IRS, and Social Security reporting, to maintain legal and financial integrity.
• Cash Flow Management: Prepare and analyze monthly cash flow forecasts, offering valuable insights to support financial decision-making, and closely monitor actual cash flow against projections.
• Collections: Efficiently manage collections from customers, ensuring timely and consistent processes.
• Employee Payroll: Oversee the preparation of salaries and the management of employee expenses, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Supplier Payments: Accurately prepare and process payments to suppliers.
• Ad-Hoc Projects: Engage in ad-hoc accounting projects and initiatives, optimizing financial processes to drive the organization’s financial goals.
  
  

• Educational Background: Possess a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and hold a CPA license.
• Professional Experience: Have a minimum of 2 years of experience within a Big 4 firm, with a distinct preference for roles in high-tech departments.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, both in verbal and written communication.
• Technical Skills:
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, including both IFRS and US GAAP.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance, SOX, and financial reporting standards.
• Attention to Detail: Pays close attention to detail and committed to maintaining financial accuracy.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex financial data.
• Adherence to Deadlines: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines with precision.
• Collaborative and Independent: Capable of working effectively both as an independent contributor and as a team player.
• Fast learner and self-starter.
