TeamUp is a data-based Software Productivity tool, designed to empower teams across the organization to improve their Software Productivity, resulting in a positive impact on AT&T’s business outcomes. We’re building a big-data SW intelligence platform that turns data generated throughout the SW development lifecycle (code, user stories, pipelines, scanning tools) into insights and optimization tools to help 1000+ R&D teams in AT&T continuously improve while developing products for dozens of millions of customers to use.
The Developer Relations Manager will be responsible for fostering strong relationships with the TeamUp developers’ community and promoting our company's products and services. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for working with developers. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and executing strategies to engage, educate, and support developers, ultimately driving the adoption of TeamUp.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and drive a multi-channel communications strategy for driving awareness, bottom-up adoption, and engagement with TeamUp by teams, and foster a strong developer community made up of strong advocates and believers in TeamUp
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, business development, UX/UI, customer success and our education and training body, to craft communication and branded training material, that will educate and engage the developer community, supporting TeamUp’s growth efforts. Such material includes TeamUp’s newsletter, feature release announcements, marketing, and educational material, as well as organizing webinars and workshops to showcase TeamUp’s offerings and position us as software excellence experts
- Monitor and analyze community feedback, trends, and insights to inform product development and improve overall developer experience
- Establish and manage a developer advocacy program, including identifying and supporting key developer champions
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in developer relations, technical evangelism, or a similar role
- Strong technical background and familiarity with the software development lifecycle
- Exceptional verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences and tell a story
- Passion for working with developers and promoting innovative technologies
- Proven track record of creating and delivering compelling technical content
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with social media, content creation, and community management is a plus
