Automation Engineer

A startup company in the field of autonomous vehicles, developing software for the world of autonomous driving based on computer vision, neural networks, and machine learning.

They develop software that connects to vehicles, rendering them autonomous. The system installed in the car isn't reliant on pre-prepared maps fed to the vehicle while driving. Instead, it generates a real-time map, enabling the car to comprehend the route during the journey and respond to the environment like a human driver. The system relies solely on cameras and doesn't utilize radars or lidars (laser-based radar).

Currently, the company has vehicles operating on public roads in the United States and Europe. The company is in the early stages of commercializing the system, with its clients testing the company's system through tests and integration into their vehicles.

The entire automotive industry represents a potential market for them.

Within the role - establishing automation from scratch within the company as a unified function, development in Python on Linux, and working with CI/CD tools.

Qualifications:

• BSc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or any related field

• 5+ years of experience as an Automation Engineer, preferably in the Automotive, Medical

• Knowledge of software development lifecycle, test methodologies, test tools and passion for quality processes

• Ability to define, design, develop and maintain test automation frameworks

• Proficiency in Python

• Expertise in shell scripting.

• Experience with C++

• High level of English (written & spoken including ability to present in English)
