Financial Controller

We are looking for a Controller to join our finance team.

You will play a key part in the development of finance procedures and controls, monthly & quarterly report packages for senior management and support day-to-day financial operations.

About The Role

• Responsible for the Group’s month-end closure activities overseeing with Bookkeeping department.
• Liaise with the group’s external auditor for the quarterly, Annual Audits.
• Ensure all financial processes meet regulatory and compliance guidelines and standards.
• Monthly, quarterly, and annual end-closing process
• Monitor and perform accounting analysis to ensure accuracy.
• Analyze actual, forecast, and budget expenses on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Consolidation and reconcile of intercompany balances and transfer pricing compliance.
• Prepare statutory reports – annual financial reports and tax reports.
• Supporting tax-related matters
• Design and implement preventative and identifying controls aligned with the group’s finance department to strengthen and ensure accurate and on-time reporting.
• Ad-hoc analytics & projects

Requirements

• CPA - Must
• At least 2+ years post internship experience preferably of experience as an assistant controller/ controller in a SaaS or high-growth tech company
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics/Accounting/Business Management. An MBA is an advantage.
• Familiar with GAAP, especially IFRS.
• Analytical mind with exceptional attention to detail
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and to adapt to a fast-changing environment.
• Positive attitude, ability to work independently, self-learn and adapt to a fast-changing environment.
• Able to take ownership of fast-paced projects with rapidly shifting priorities.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel
• Excellent English skills – writing and verbal.
