The company recently raised $7.2 million in seed funding from A* Capital, Liquid2, Cardumen Capital, and Remagine Ventures. The funding will allow tol grow faster, enter new global markets, and improve its enterprise offerings with the new funding.

Munch has over 3,000 paying subscribers and $2M ARR in 8 months. As a primary short-form vendor, the company has contracts with several major media companies.

Role Description

Be our first product designer! You will be responsible for creating and designing products that meet users' needs, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that the products align with the company's goals.

To do that you will:

• Own a full design cycle from research to hands-on design, collecting inspiration and creating an intuitive, accessible, pixel-perfect UI for all states and scenarios, and deliver to development.
• Conduct extensive product research based on market trends, support tickets, data and competitor analysis, to support design and product recommendations and decisions, ensuring our goals are aligned with users’ needs.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Frontend Developers and others to understand requirements and provide creative, thoughtful solutions inside and outside the team.
• Work with the development team to ensure designs are implemented to spec and collaborate to come up with creative design solutions when technical challenges arise.

Qualifications

• Excellent visual design and design thinking skills.
• 2+ years of experience in delivering clear, accessible, top-notch design specs.
• Team player who knows how to collaborate and brainstorm with all kinds of people from different disciplines.
• Experience with User Research and UX Research methodologies.
• Experience with agile methodologies and working in sprints.
• Proficient with industry-standard design tools (e.g. Figma) and also like to learn about new technologies, products and workflows.
• Experience with applying Material design UI components in SaaS platforms.
• A strong portfolio that demonstrates design skills and processes
• Very good level of English, spoken and written.
• Knowledge of CSS and HTML is a plus.
• Experience with video editing is a plus.
• Experience with content creation and content distribution is a plus
• Familiarity with AI and machine learning technologies is a plus
