Collection Specialist

The Guesty Finance team is growing, and we are looking for a Collection Specialist to join us. In this role, you will be in charge of resolving overdue bills and collecting payments, perform accounts receivable tasks such as sending invoices, recording payments and monitoring outstanding balances to ensure each account is paid on time and in full.

The ideal candidate must have deep operational/organizational skills to accurately perform the required tasks that make up their day-to-day responsibilities. On top of this meticulous attention to detail, the Collection Specialist must also possess excellent communication skills as they work together with other departments and customers, solve issues, and keep them updated with relevant account information.

Responsibilities:

• Collecting debt
• Communicate and negotiate with customers
• Handle payment disputes
• Issue invoices and record payments
• Monitor accounts and outstanding balances
• Work together with other departments to support special requests or escalations

Requirements:

• At least one year of experience as a Collection Specialist
• Experience with Stripe
• Proficiency in Excel
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Organized in nature and with incredible attention to detail
• English (spoken and written) must be fluent
• Availability for a full-time position

Nice to have:

• Experience with SalesForce, Zuora, and Netsuite software - an advantage
• Quick adoption of new systems/software
