CEO - BioConvergence

Our client is an early stage startup company, developing a cutting-edge bio convergent, computational biology combined with molecular tools to identify unique cancer mutations for precision medicine.

The company is looking for an exceptional CEO who is passionate about innovative technologies and taking them to market. The CEO will lead and grow the company, formulate the company's business model and weave the strategy, create and promote partnerships with companies, and raise funds.

Job Description:

Location: Israel, Center (Hybrid)

Reporting to: The Board

Scope: Full time

Responsibility:

• Set the vision for the company and define the overall strategy and business model from launch to scale, including long-term goals. Drive growth, profitability, and company value
• Oversee all functional areas, including strategy, operations, regulations and business development
• Build industry partnerships and relationships to amplify impact
• Lead fund raising

Requirements:

• 5 years of recent experience or more as a CEO or VP B&D in a Start up Biomedical /Pharmaceutical company
• Experience and positive track record fundraising and negotiating venture
• Academic degree
• P&L and cash flow responsibilities at CEO level
• Experience deal making, negotiation, commercial execution and navigating commercial contracts with strategic partners
• Experience and understanding in the scientific field
• Expertise in molecular and cell biology techniques, cancer and reproductive health genomics and molecular diagnostics- an advantage
• Experience with products based on computational biology- an advantage
• Experienced in the bioinformatic space- an advantage
• Advantage expertise in molecular tools, and FDA regulation
• Familiarity, experience, and insights in clinical development
