Containers

Containers are redefining how developers and DevOps are building, deploying, and running their applications. Spot Ocean is working on building the future of infrastructure and cluster management for containers while delivering a unique “Serverless Containers” engine that lets developers deploy containers without managing infrastructure.

Spot Ocean is looking for a product owner to help us execute product strategy and accelerate the adoption of containers in the cloud.

As a product owner, you will own the execution of our product roadmap in front of outbound product manager, engineering, design, marketing, support, documentation, and other teams within Spot. You will oversee feature definition, prioritization, planning, coordination and release of the Ocean product.

Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of technical experience in the cloud computing (AWS/GCP/Azure) technology space
• BS or BA in computer science, engineering, or math.
• Demonstrated success working on complex software solutions delivery, including specification writing, closely working with engineers and follow up execution.
• Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in Software development or DevOps philosophy.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to influence others and work effectively in a cross-functional team
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with scheduling and cluster management technologies such as Docker, Azure ACI, GKE Autopilot/Fargate/Kubernetes/Docker Swarm/AWS ECS/Hashicorp Nomad etc.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with a track record for delivering results in fast-moving environments.
• Experience as a product owner in a software company
