Open Source Engineer- Entry level

Seal Security is a rapidly growing B2B startup in the early stages, with our solution currently in open beta. Our mission is to empower companies to automate and scale their open source vulnerability remediation efforts.

We are seeking for a core team member to join us, with basic security background and a lot of curiosity, who will work directly with the CTO on the company's core technology.

This position offers a unique opportunity to join a startup at its inception. As a member of our R&D team, you'll be part of an ambitious and dynamic group. We leverage cutting-edge advancements in DevOps and LLMs and have developed an automated pipeline for security patches, addressing a significant gap in the open source remediation domain.

Responsibilities:

• Craft security patches for open source libraries used by Seal's clients.
• Design and implement tools to automate the patching process.
• Contribute to technological and architectural decisions

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience and certifications.
• Knowledge of basic coding languages including Python, Javascript, Java, C.
• Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly.
• Advantage: knowledge in security research (e.g., vulnerabilities, exploits).
